Curriculum Certificates

Several curriculum programs at VGCC offer certificates for a grouping of 12-18 credit hours of courses. Certificates are curriculum certificates only and should not be confused with Industry Certifications. These certificates are not recognized or awarded at the graduation ceremony in the same manner as associate degrees and diplomas.

Those who have completed the required courses for a certificate should see their advisor or the program head of their area to complete an Application for Curriculum Certificate form.

Certificates (in PDF format) will be emailed to the student’s VGCC email address approximately 6 weeks after the completed form has been received by the Registrar’s Office. Completion of the certificate will also be recorded on the student’s official VGCC transcript.
