Congratulations to VGCC's newest Basic Law Enforcement Training (BLET) graduates! 🎓👮
Vance-Granville Community College recently celebrated 12 cadets from BLET Academy #122 who successfully completed six months of rigorous classroom instruction and hands-on training. These officers now represent seven law enforcement agencies across our region, and we could not be prouder of their hard work, perseverance, and commitment to serving their communities.

Please join us in welcoming Officer Lillwitz III to the Creedmoor Police Department!
Officer Lillwitz is a graduate of Vance-Granville Community College's 122nd Basic Law Enforcement Training (BLET) class, where he successfully completed more than 800 hours of intensive training in preparation for a career in law enforcement.
During the academy, Officer Lillwitz earned the prestigious Top Gun Award, recognizing him as the highest-scoring cadet and the top overall performer in firearm proficiency in his graduating class. This honor reflects his exceptional dedication, professionalism, and commitment to excellence.
In addition to his academy accomplishments, Officer Lillwitz holds a degree in Criminal Justice from The University of Nebraska.
We are excited to have Officer Lillwitz join our team and look forward to the dedication and service he will provide to the Creedmoor community. Congratulations, Officer Lillwitz, and welcome to the Creedmoor Police Department!
