VGCC students conducting Hurricane Matthew relief drive

Vance-Granville Community College Radiography students, in partnership with Black’s Tire & Auto Service, are collecting supplies to help those who have been affected by Hurricane Matthew in North and South Carolina. They are particularly seeking adult diapers, baby diapers, children’s toys, bottled water, cleaning supplies, toiletries (especially women’s sanitary products), canned goods & non-perishable food items, new t-shirts, socks and undergarments. The students cannot accept cash donations. The drive continues through Wednesday, Oct. 19. Anyone wishing to donate such supplies can drop them off at the following locations:

• VGCC Main Campus, Outside of Building 8: 9 a.m. – 6 p.m.
• VGCC Main Campus, Outside of Civic Center/Building 9: 9 a.m. – 6 p.m.
• VGCC Franklin Campus (Louisburg), Main Entrance: 9 a.m. – 5 p.m.
• VGCC South Campus (Creedmoor), Main Entrance: 8 a.m. – 5 p.m.
• VGCC Warren Campus (Warrenton), Main Entrance: 9 a.m. – 5 p.m.
